Great Ocean Road - day 1

In November we decided to do the "Great Ocean Road" which is well-known for its breathtaking coast landscapes.
Beginning of the trip: Bellarine Peninsula on the South of Melbourne. On this picture we see then entry of Melbourne's Bay, only 3km large and one of the most dangerous of the world.
Called "The Rip" (la déchirure)
End of the Mornington Peninsula on the other side (Point Nepean)
On our side (west), Point Lonsdale seen from Queenscliff
First stops: Torquay, surfers city, and then a surfer beach (Bells beach?)
Edouard pretending he's working on his phone ;-)

In the afternoon, we stopped at Lorne : another place, another beach
Edouard couldn't help surfing here in Australia, one of the most mythic places in the world for surf!

Waiting for the waves..
and surfing on it ! Well done Edouard!
For the night we stayed in Apollo Bay, and had an unforgettable dinner : delicious seafood platter for 2 and a nice australian sparkling wine (don't remember the name but I'm sure Edouard would).
